Our Lady of Grace – Hand-Carved Ivory Wood Sculpture | 3.9"
From Wood, an Expression of Faith
The Tree of Life | The Workshop of Nazareth | The Wood of the Cross.
Wood is deeply woven into the History of Salvation. At The Worker, it is transformed once again by human hands into an expression of faith.
Inspired by St. Joseph the Worker, we value craftsmanship and the beauty of natural materials to create pieces that make visible what we carry in our hearts. More than decorative objects, our sculptures are devotional images, created to help us remember God in everyday life, cultivate a life of prayer, and pass on the faith within the family.
This delicate sculpture of Our Lady is crafted in Brazil from carefully selected Guatambu wood, a naturally light-toned wood with a fine texture and delicate grain. The simplicity and warmth of the wood meet the tenderness of Mary’s image, resulting in a serene, elegant, and timeless piece.
The wood used in the creation of the sculpture is sourced with official Brazilian Forest Origin Documentation (DOF), providing documented traceability of its forest origin.
Its compact size allows it to find a place wherever daily life unfolds: on a home altar or prayer corner, bedside table, bookshelf, console, or desk. A discreet yet constant presence that reminds us each day of Mary’s motherhood and her continual intercession before God.
Handmade in Brazil
At The Worker, we believe in the unique value of pieces shaped by human hands.
Each sculpture is hand-carved in Brazil, receiving individual attention throughout the production process. The work is assisted by a manual pantograph, a traditional tool that allows forms and proportions to be reproduced with precision while preserving the handcrafted character of each piece.
Because each sculpture is made from natural Guatambu wood and finished by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle variations in color, texture, wood grain, and carving are natural characteristics of the material and are part of the authenticity and individual beauty of each sculpture.
A Gift of Faith
An image of Our Lady can accompany some of the most meaningful moments in a family’s life. This sculpture makes a special gift for Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations, weddings, birthdays, the birth of a baby, Mother’s Day, or a new home.
More than a gift, it is a devotional image meant to remain—a small presence of Mary in the heart of the home, accompanying prayer and reminding those who live there to entrust their families to her intercession.
From wood, shaped by human hands, comes a piece created for a greater purpose: to help keep faith present in the everyday life of a family.
